      Hello,

since there ever where complaints about the clumsy Yahoo interface
and the amount of messages that is hard to follow with a mail client
long ago a NNTP usenet feed was set up exclusively for panotools NG
(on panotools.org only, not out in the wild usenet ;-)

Now Timo Schnitzlein suggested on Panotools-List to compile a page
that shows how to set up and configure a newsreader to read and write
Panotools NG. I've picked up this suggestion, played a bit with
Thunderbird and found it a very convenient tool, if you install some
extensions that smooth the rough edges.

      Have a look at http://wiki.panotools.org/PanoTools:Newsreader

Perhaps someone wants to add information about his/her favourite news
      reader...

Please don't reply to that message here. Discussions about that are
      on topic on Panotools-List:
      http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Panotools-List/
or on the related wiki talk page.

      best regards
