      note this will only work if the exe location has a short file name
      i.e. not c:\program files\...

      one of the most interesting features of the denoising options is the
      anistropic smoothing which when dialled right up produces most
      painterly looking "van gogh" effects automatically -- it finds the
      dominant lines of the image and smooths along those directions

      not so interesting for still images maybe but for movies it is cool

      re the Inpaint feature of Greycstoration -- this looks useful as a
      nadir/zenith filling aid and getting rid of wires (often a stitching
      nightmare) but for this kind of thing maybe Resynthesizer (a Gimp
      plugin) might be better
