Pano Size Question
- I've never tried posting a pano made using 4000 pix cube sides before.
The file size is close to 10mb, does it open up and work ok?
I believe this size is at the largest limit.
This was taken at the 2012 King of The Hammers offroad race a few days ago.
Ah, got that. Thanks Roger. I have a similar pano head to your one in head6.jpg, (which I use for large canvas prints). I can use the other images to get someone to make me a similar bracket for the fisheye lens.
I like your “fine tuning”….I think in New Zealand a heavy hammer is referred to as an engineering adjuster……
I make my own mounting plates, I like them extremely lightweight, portable and very simple.
Here you can also see that the 8-15mm lens hood has been trimmed.
I like being able to take the lens cap on and off without having to remove the hood when shooting @ 14mm.
To get it aligned corner to corner I used a straight line something like this but with the camera diagonal and used a hammer to fine tune it. Then I shoot a photo and check it with Photoshop by drawing a straight vertical line making sure it's centered with the top and bottom corners of the photo.
