      now has camera tracking. Stitching softwares are really doing camera tracking, albeit one where the camera is (theoretically) doing rotation only, not translation. For panos more general 3d tracking means you can solve very loosely shot pano sequences, make stabilized "live panorama" handheld sequences, stabilize transition movies, augment "live panoramas" with visual annotations ..etc
