      Hi all,

I'm new in the forum. I have a Nikon coolpix 5400 with a fisheye fc-e8. I'm not a photographer but I already take panorama pictures since 2006.

I want to increase my pictures. I'm trying to find a better camera and lens. I can't spend so much money, because of that, I want cheap solution (doesn't need to be a new equipment).

I wish I could use my fc-e8 yet but seaching on the internet, I didn't saw any other cameras except the coolpix series that are very difficult and low quality.

One of my work you can see in: www.hotelmanibu.com.br/tour_virtual
it's far to be good, but I'm studing a lot :)

Does any one can give me some advice?

      Thanks,

      Antonio Correia

As a cheap solution I would recommend a Canon Digital Rebel and an 8mm Peleng lens. It worked for me a few years ago. Best regards from the subtropical regions

            Hello Felipe,

All extra it would need is a cheap tube adaptor and a step down ring.

Going from a 5 Megapixel to a 12 Megapixel camera should make a visible
            difference.

António, I would advise you to get a DSLR (Canon Digital Rebel or Nikon
equivalent would do just fine), and the best lens you can afford.
This way you always have some upgrade options, you can upgrade the camera
body and keep the lens or vice-versa :)

                  Thanks everybody for the repplies!

I'm studing the best option. Here in Brasil is not so easy to find stores to sell that specific equipments. Because of that probably I'll have to try ebay. I already saw the Samyang and the Peleng lens, and I liked the prices very much!

                  Thanks again!

                  Best Regards,

                  Antonio Carlos Correia
