      Absolutely true. Although the 'backwards' navigation means that it
      can never really feel like true virtual reality. You're always
      'grabbing and pulling the scene', not turning your viewpoint. And it
      is not conducive to (and doesn't currently support) the non-stop turn
      behaviour of dragging-and-holding... to look more than a bit around
      you have to click-drag-release, click-drag-release,
      click-drag-release.

      In some ways Streetview is helping VR panorama photography, but in
      other ways it is creating potential problems of perception and
      expectation.
