a Giant Squid caught in the southern ocean last year. This, I believe,
is the largest (5,000kg), and most intact specimum ever found.
Scientists have come from around the planet to study it.
What cught my attention and will be of interest to you all is that it
has an eye the size of a soccer ball!
It is a vicious preditor and at 1,000 - 2,000 meters depth it is still
a visual hunter.
The largest eye there is!
Optics and photon reception must be extraordinary.
