[PanoToolsNG] Lucid Viewer 1.1 Preview #2 | www.lucid.it/lab
- Testing of the new Object Compositing Engine continues at
http://www.lucid.it/lab. This feature allows developers to incorporate
interactive objects into their 3D environments. Jpg and .png images will be
supported in addition to Flash .swf files. Flash files can be pre-scripted,
meaning they can have additional code or interactivity pre-built into them
before being brought into Lucid Viewer. (The clock and TV are examples of
this). The new GUI lets you load in files to set up parameters before
permanently adding them to your project (in the .xml document). To test the
online demo, simply do the following:
1. Type 'phone.png' into the File box. This will build you a new telephone
object complete with alpha.
2. You can drag the object to reposition it in the environment. Click it
again to 'pin it' where you want it.
3. Use the GUI to adjust the object's properties.
Lucid Viewer 1.1 will tentatively be released in mid April.
Yes, it will be available as a commercial product.
Thank in advance to all beta testers.
Feedback is always welcome at viewer@...
