Res: [PanoToolsNG] Can I retouch a QTVR movie?
- I also like doing the retouching on the cube faces.
You can even do some fine retouching on the nadir face.
The cube faces are much easier to work with on PS as they aren't as distorted as the equirectangular image.
I guess that, like me, you aren't using a fisheye lens to shot the panorama.

If you use Pano2QTVR, it will allow you to start with the
equirectangular file out of PTGui and save the individual cube faces as
well as (or instead of) the merged .mov file. You can then do whatever
retouching you need in the individual faces and then reassemble them
into the .mov file.
You can also go backwards from the cube faces to an equirectangular file
for the regular PanoTools Java viewer.
I have used this on several pans both to patch small holes and to fix
small spots where I had some unwanted stuff (like my toes, ouch...) in a
/s/jar (Alan Ritter, jar@...)
