if you feel something is missing, contribute! it only takes time and a
positive, open attitude.
Fear not failure, it is just a step on the way to success.
When a piece of software fails at its intended use, take the positive
out of the experience and file a bug report, don't complain.
It does not take coding skills to follow the instructions at
it only take some time, a computer and some basic reading and typing skills.
If something in the building process does not work, a respectful bug
report helps the coders make it work next time.
If something is not clear, a respectful question attracts an exhaustive
answer and the documentation gets updated for the next time. or maybe
the person asking the question does the update herself? it only takes a
wiki account and some writing skills.
plenty of other ways to contribute.
Luca Vascon does not know to write a line of code, but his contributed
icons are very much appreciated.
So are the translations by the many people who took the time to offer
their language skills and edit a simple text file.
Last but not least, users that request features are welcome, but they
must understand that this is all done in free, donated time, so there is
no promise that their requests will be followed up on, and there is no
promised delivery schedule.
It's a GIVE ecosystem, not a TAKE one. Those who give are rewarded.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
