- Dec 12, 2006Hello again sorry for the delay in response...
I am really really sorry for not posting sooner... I have been going
crazy here. Thank you to all who responded, I really appreciate
In regards to music on my panos... The music is owned by the
licensee, the licensee pays all BMI, SESAC, ASCAP to play music in
the salon(public broadcast) the website, while displayed publicly
online, also is displayed and played publicly at both venues offering
appealing background music which is clearly paid for. If we get a
cease and desist we will comply, if we get a subpeona/fine we will
fight. Bring it on... we are not selling, offering for download,
sharing, making money from, using the music to profit, we are in fact
playing music we paid to buy, paid to play, and have chosen for a
theme on our website... an artist/record company should be so
flattered to have us promoting their music..... for free.
Fair use? I think so.
