      Using 2 flashes is a good idea.
      I´ll have to think about this too, maybee 2 flashes on a pole app. 50cm
      below the camera in vertical position.
      so you can tilt the flash(es) to illuminate the important object or all
      around like yours.
      Not so easy to mount them onto the pole though.

      Here's a new test shot. This was done with a Canon 5D-II, ISO/400, two
      Canon 430EXII flash units (one on each side of the camera) a Nikon 10.5mm
      lens @ f/2.8, up on a 14 foot pole.
      There's still dust showing up in front of the lens, next step is to make
      up a rubber lens hood and give it a test.
      These flash units where set to full flash for this test which will also
      show more dust.
      When the pano opens you will see two shadows from the small tree, In the
      opposite direction you will see the two flash reflections the car's window.
