      Dear John,
I have read the Book"A New Course in Reading Pali" by
Gair and Karunatillake. It is a very good book to
      start off.
      With Metta,
      Mangesh

        Hi Dimitry,
Thanks very much for your support.
That's wonderful that you've translated Gair into
Russian! It appears you'll be a wonderful resource as
        I work through the book.
I like your web-site too, but I wish I could read
Russian! Thanks for the translation site link. That
helps a lot, but it does come up with some pretty
bizarre translations. Did you know that PALI in the
cyrillic alphabet gets translated to HAVING FALLEN?

        Much metta to you,
        John

          into Russian as "invisible idiot"!!

          Cheers
