I am but a servent in the royal court of my beloved Pharoah
Society says, our love can never be
But my love for you is like the mighty Nile's never ending flow
In your presence, I hide my eyes so no one can see.
See my undying love for you, in our society this can never be
I pray to my goddess Isis, for direction beeseching her to tell me
the correct path, I must walk
I could never be your wife, but our souls are as one, and I know you
But in public, our love can't be seen, but in private we can love and
Please, oh please, God of everything and all, Rah, tell me what to do
I so love you and I am so sad
I have no ideas, I haven't a clue
I only want to smile, be happy, not sad and blue.
I am starting to realize, my only hapiness will be in death
Each of us will be buried in a different way
But when we enter the land of the dead, when on this earth, we take
our last breath
The incantations that help us survive in the land of the dead, we
must remember, so them we can correctly say.
Ensuring us correct passage to a land, we can unite forever and a day
I know you will rise with Rah, being with him through out the day
But then at night, you would come back to me, where without fear, we
could talk and play
Forever, me by your side, this I would choose to do without delay.
As for now, I will be with you whenever you can slip away
Being content for now, until I take my last breath
Here I know we will have a say
So we live according to our laws, so perhaps in death.
