      Thirteen Stanzas
      This poem shall have
      Chronicling my journey
      On this spiritual path

      Thirteen candles
      I will light
      To illuminate my path
      Learning wrong from right

      Thirteen steps
      I must ascend
      Upon a dedicant's path
      Successful completion I portend

      Thirteen trees
      I pass, sacred be
Deep of root and wide of branch
      Like tradition, they teach me

      Thirteen bells
      Ringing softly
      Open my thoughts
      Dispel negativity

      Thirteen athames
      Point the way
      Guiding me along
      Both night and day

      Thirteen cauldrons
      Boil their brew
      Cleansing my mind
      My spirit they renew

      Thirteen Altars
      Their preparations done
To aid my Wiccan and daily self
      To come together as one

      Thirteen cups
      Empty I fill
      Magic flows within
      Doubts become still

      Thirteen swords
      Equidistant apart
Measure the love for the God
      And Goddess in my heart

      Thirteen wands
      Float in the air
      Wisdom filled
      Take their guidance I dare

      Thirteen pentacles
      Etched in the earth
      Taking me forward
      To a spiritual rebirth

      Thirteen moons
      During my travel have passed
This year and a day a beginning
These steps on the Wicca path not my last
