      Snow blankets the ground
And a chilled fog fills the air
      The wheel turns again
      From crone to maiden
      The Goddess changes

      Still slumbering is she
      But stirring in sleep
      A smile crosses her lips
      Dreaming of the God
      As a youth running
      Through the forests and fields
      The fire is banked

      The embers barely glow
She is snuggled up in bed
      While a flame burns brightly
On a candle in the window
