      Thinking about something a lot makes you understand
      and appreciate it more, but it also creates a strong
      emotional attachment, reducing objectivity.

      You have a point. Those involved in letterpress can
      probably be said to be generally more interesting in
      "self-expression" that your typical typesetter, and
      the higher-quality results are a great consequence
      of that. But the question is, exactly who benefits
      most from this particular kind of quality? Or really,
      quality in general?

      I see no problem with somebody making Art to enrich
      his life (and that of others, although to a lesser
      extent), as long as there's a healthy understanding
      of its limits.
