I've ordered envelopes from Crane a few times, and I always call up their
800 number to order. Many old line companies take longer to process their
online orders than the ones through traditional channels (they may have
batch processing of online orders once a day or so at a certain unknown
time); I have no idea if this applies to Crane, but the service on the phone
is great. Once you're in their system, they can look up your name and credit
info so it only takes a couple of minutes. If you ask for 2nd day air, they
actually ship it by next day air and process it within a day, so you
generally receive it within 2 days of ordering -- and in the morning, no
less. The rush shipping costs can be reasonable depending on the dollar
      value of the order.

The only merchant to my knowledge that stocks Lettra envelopes is Legion
Paper (NY & LA). Their prices seem to be a little higher than Crane, so it
offsets the rush shipping charges ordering directly from Crane. Plus Legion
      has a $250 minimum order.

Matz Paper and Astro Converters in Southern California both stock Lettra in
the 110 lb. weight, but not envelopes. However, both will sell it in any
quantity and cut it to size for you within a day (often same day). Astro has
a slight edge in service in my experience, but both are good.
