Dr Mardersteig was not just a printer (and book and type designer) "of
remarkable skill", as is written on that web page-he truly was a brilliant
fine press publisher in the first place, right from the calibre of Emery
        Walker.

Would they have redrawn the outlines of the new Pro fonts at Monotype
Imaging, as they did with Bembo Book Pro? At the Stamperia Valdonega, which
is now lead by Mardersteig's son, Martino, they use their own digital
revival of the Dante founts, which unfortunately is not released to public.
John Hudson wrote: "This is really splendid, has a range of optical sizes,
and is much superior to the Monotype version. Also, it is based on the
foundry metal original, not Monotype's hot metal version."
