Linotype Decorative Material (Reprinted 1929). 100 pages of information on
Linotype Border Matrices and Border Slides.

The LaNana Creek Press and the School of Art at Stephen F. Austin State
University will host a one month intensive retreat that is intended for
letterpress printers, binders or other book artists who would like to hone
their skills while working on a major project of their choosing.
Each participant will design, print, and bind an edition of books, and
construct a slipcase and drop spine clam-shell box. Instruction will be
available as needed. Field trips to Austin, Dallas, and Houston's printing
sites of interest are planned.
Topics to be covered are: hand & computer typesetting, book design, and
letterpress printing, edition binding and basic case and box making. Basic
silkscreen, intaglio and relief print instruction will be provided as
requested within the context of the chosen project.
Facilities include a well equipped printmaking facility that includes
Vandercooks, C&P, lithographic and etching presses, Xante FilmMaker 4,
platemakers, and exposure units for silkscreen and photopolymer films for
