      That probably depends on the kind of roller. Some cores like simple platen press rollers have little or no value, especially if the don't have "centers" on the end, the dimples that allow mounting on a lathe. Without them you'll pay extra for adding centers before rollers can be recovered in rubber (centers not needed with composition rollers).
      Have you tried Don Black in Toronto? He keeps certain rollers in stock and might have a special price with core exchange.
