      Hi everyone,

If you've been to the SF Book Arts and Printer's Fair before, then this little reminder is all you'll need to mark your calendars and make plans to attend

If you've never been to a fair, then take note. This is an event not to be missed...

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area (or visiting here) be sure to come on over to PCBA's 34th Annual Book Arts and Printers' Fair at Ft. Mason Center in San Francisco, on Saturday May 9th 2009 from 9 am to 4 pm.

The event is presented by the Pacific Center for the Book Arts (PCBA) and is free and open to the Public.

The fair features letterpress printers, book artists, calligraphers, paper marblers, zine publishers and book enthusiasts share their love of the word in all its forms – written, printed, drawn.

Come meet artists, see demonstrations, tools and equipment of the various book arts.

Vendors offer unique handcrafted books, old-fashioned equipment, book-making supplies, letterpress zines, subscription art and unique book items from miniature to life-sized.

On a personal note, I will be volunteering at the San Jose Printers' Guild booth where my fellow letterpress printers will be showing you how to print on century old letterpress equipment. How fun and cool is that???!!! Be sure and drop by and say hi!
