13574FINAL SALE NOTICE: Williams Stationery Letterpress Equipment Clearance Sale
- Oct 5 8:24 AMThis will probably be one of the last times I will be offering the remaining equipment from my commercial letterpress shop for sale on these lists. Any remaining equipment as of November 30, 2013 will either be sold off as scrap or offered to equipment dealers such as Boggs Graphics for either auction or to buy outright for resale. I have been working at this sell off of my equipment since mid-March, which has allowed 8 months for all of you to look things over and decide if you were interested in anything. More than enough time to get buyers if anyone is interested. Prices are also at "bargain basement" levels, just a bit over scrap value in most cases...
Several of you have suggested I list this equipment on Briar Press, but when I checked into that, they do not accept listings of commercial letterpress equipment, so that is not an option, as I see it...
This being said, here is the up-to-date list of available equipment:Letterpress Equipment Clearance Sale
(Updated October 5, 2013)
After 80 years in operation, we have decided it is time to close our doors as commercial letterpress business. I will be retaining a few pieces of equipment to maintain a smaller “hobby” based business out of our home, but the vast majority of our equipment and our buildings are now up for sale. All equipment must be removed by November 30, 2013.
Unlike many others planning to close their doors, I am giving everyone plenty of advance notice to be able to find homes for as much of our equipment as possible. Everything that is not sold by November 30, 2013 will be sold at auction in early 2014.Located at:
