      Ahoy All,
Sea-Air-Space Exposition is a wonderful annual Navy League event. If you have the headquarters of a defense contractor near your council, Sea-Air-Space is a outstanding selling point for corporate NLUS membership recruiting. A lot, in fact almost everyone who makes defense / homeland security decisions, attends this gathering.
We Navy Leaguers are all welcome to attend. It's impressive and the Gaylord Center, National Harbor, Maryland (Oxon Hill - just south of the beltway) is fresh and new and impressive as well. Accommodations there or in adjacent hotels can easily rise above $200 per night.
I have located a Wyndham hotel, Days Inn Alexandria South, 3.2 miles north that offers rooms for a third the cost. Teddy and I will be staying there for the NLUS Board of Directors meeting June 22-25. Can't personally vouch for this Days Inn, some reviews are positive and others are negative.
Anyway, if going to Sea Air Space, let me know and I can let you know who else from our region will be there as well.
      Anchors Aweigh,
      Phelps Hobart
