      NOTICE  !!

IT IS WONDERFUL HAVING PMMC-NLUS HELP US TO ADVERTISE OUR MAY 19TH CRUISE BUT THERE HAS BEEN A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE!

THE PORT OF SAN FRANCISCO WAS UNABLE TO MAKE PIER 96 AVAILABLE FOR US, DESPITE PREVIOUS ASSURANCES.

WE WILL DEPART FROM AND RETURN TO PIER 45, FISHERMAN'S WHARF.  TIMES REMAIN UNCHANGED.

PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE AT OUR BERTH, SO COMMERCIAL PARKING FACILITIES WILL HAVE TO BE UTILIZED.

      CAPTAIN PATRICK BUTTNER

      MASTER,  S.S. JEREMIAH O'BRIEN

      Additional notice:

The Pacific Merchant Marine Council has purchased a wreath that will be placed on the water at the conclusion of a short memorial service aboard.

It has two ribbons. On the first it will say in a large font, "We will never forget you." On the second, smaller font, "In Memory of those who gave their all. Pacific Merchant Marine Council, NLUS."

The PMMC will also be listed in an on-board service pamphlet.

Please, if you should avail yourself of this splendid opportunity to cruise the Bay, take a few notes and mail Kerry O'Brien or myself the notes and program.
