Invitation: Nimitz Lecture series 7:00pm, March 12 & 14

The Naval ROTC Unit at the University of California, Berkeley sponsors an annual free lecture series featuring distinguished speakers who are experts on National Security subjects. The lectures are free and open to the public. The Tuesday lecture is followed by a reception at the Faculty Club, a short walk away. Since the lectures are non-attribution talks, the speakers tend to be disarmingly frank and honest - much like the speakers you may have heard at one of the Service courses or schools. This year's speaker is General Norton Schwartz, former Chief of Staff of the Air Force. He is going to be speaking on a very emotional subject for many active duty and former service personnel - the role of the remotely piloted vehicle in future conflicts. Attendance is highly recommended.More information: http://nimitz.berkeley.edu/currentspeaker.html
