We are very close to being overbooked for the Sunday, March 25th sailing. However, I have negotiated a large number of spots for the Saturday, March 24th cruise. If you can switch the day of your sail from Sunday TO SATURDAY, please let me know. I apologize for any inconvenience, but I had no way to predict the tremendous response we've received and I don't want to turn anyone away. Please note, if you have been confirmed for the Sunday cruise, don't worry, your seat has been reserved and you need do nothing more than show up on Sunday the 25th.

Below are the details of the Saturday, March 24th cruise (they are exactly the same as the Sunday cruise).

*1 PM departure from Jack London Square.

*Return to Jack London Square at 5 PM.

*Enroute narration by Captain Moloney of the SS Jeremiah O'Brien.

*Displays from the Bethlehem Shipyard Museum.

*Music provided by a live band playing 60's and 70's music with an adjacent dance floor.

*BBQ chicken dinners with salad and bread available for purchase.

*Sodas and snacks available for purchase.

*Non-alcoholic drink vouchers will be given to children courtesy of the Bethlehem Shipyard Museum.

*Cold beer on tap for legal aged adults.

*A scenic and leisurely sail along the San Francisco shoreline, with a stop at the old Pan Am Clipper Ship Terminal (narrated audio tour).

*No tickets are being issued. Your name on the "confirmed passenger list" is all you need to board the Spirit of Sacramento.

*Donations are NOT Mandatory, although we ask for your help in covering the operating cost of the boat and crew.

*If you cannot attend this voyage, perhaps you can join us on our next Bay Cruise since we hope to make these journey's a regular happening.

*Follow us on our website to be kept up to date on future events.

Lastly, the Spirit of Sacramento is allowing us to begin taking reservations for a SATURDAY, March 24th CRUISE! Why not sail with us on on both days and "invite different friends, for different days". Take advantage of this opportunity for a fun and educational journey upon the waters of the bay. Remember, the Bethlehem Shipyard Musuem and Education Foundation is not about making money and if you cannot afford a donation right now, no problem, catch us next time. Don't deprive your family of a memorable experience.

I can keep 20 spots open for Navy Leaguers. There is no cost, but a $5 or $10 donation per person will cover the costs of operating the boat. It is not about making money for us, it is about enjoying an afternoon on the bay and making new friends. Beside, our future cruises will be full of kids and adults who can't afford to pay even $10 per person, so I don't expect to make any money on any of our quarterly cruises. Our Education Foundation will use the cruises as a reward for kids (and their extended family) who have good comportment, good attendance and improve their grades. I believe it is important to include the family in a child's rewards, since they are a big part of their child's success.

Send me the names of those interested as soon as you can. I want to make sure your members are guaranteed a spot.
