I just attended the California Marine and Intermodal Transportation System Advisory Council meeting. Four other council members were present and engaged in the discussions.
The next CALMITSAC meeting will be January 31 California Enviromental Protection Agency building 1001 I Street, Sacramento - Conference Room 620. It is followed the next two days by the California Maritime Leadership Symposium, www.maritimeleadershipsymposium.com, February 1 and 2 at the Sacramento Convention Center. The council will likely again offer to host a luncheon on the Symposium's first day.The Pacific Merchant Marine Council continues to move forward within the maritime industry.

Colleagues: Attached you will find the agenda for Wednesdays meeting. As you can see, once again, we have a comprehensive agenda. I am attaching a power point presentation from Ian Woods of Electricore Inc. who comes to us with an interesting proposal. Bill Lyte, who made the introduction of this company to CALMITSAC has written a short memo to you, giving you a thumbnail sketch of this organization.
Through the gracious hospitality of BNSF, Jennifer Klein has offered to host our lunch. I am including a menu from our food source. Please come prepared to order so that we can submit in a timely fashion. Thanks again, Jennifer and BNSF.
Bob and I look forward to meeting with you on Wednesday.
