Camp InventionĀ®, a nationally recognized summer enrichment day program for rising 1st through 6tgh graders, will be holding a session at Hyattsville Elementary School June 17-21. The day program runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm and includes hands-on activities, brainstorming, experimentation, and lots of action. The program is open to non-Hyattsville Elementary students.

This is a hands-on program working together on projects that combine critical thinking with creativity and physical activity. It features qualified instructors and uses a curriculum that is customized for different grade levels and aligns with state and national education standards.

For program details, visit http://www.campinvention.org/parentscreate.aspx , or contact the school office for more information. Registration can be done online at http://inventnow-web.ungerboeck.com/programsearch/moreinfo.aspx?event=8387 (and there's a discount for online registrations).

There is also a need for parent volunteers to help out during the program day. Contact the school for more information.

Hyattsville Elementary is located at 5311 43rd Avenue. The office phone number is 301-209-5800.
