Some information about the PBY Memorial Association,
Based at NAS Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, Washington, USA.

The PBY MEMORIAL ASSOCIATION, established September 22, 1998, is
dedicated to the preservation of Naval aviation history, the PBY
Catalina, and the Seaplane Base at Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island,
Washington. We invite you to join the growing group of civilian and
military members along with veteran pilots and crews who actually flew
the Navy amphibious aircraft from the early 40's to the end of WW II.
If you are in the vicinity of Oak Harbor, you are invited to get
together with Cat Veterans and friends of the amphibious aircraft every
fourth Tuesday at the CPO Club at NAS Whidbey (Ault Field). A no-host
luncheon-meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. (P.S. Bring your spouse)

"My Father in law was in VP-11 and flew in PBY's during the early days of WWII...he was at
Pearl Harbor (Kaneohe) during the attack and later flew in PBY's at Midway, Guadalcanal.
He is now 86 years old and is still active in veterans affairs."
