      Looking at pictures from National Museum of Naval Aviation Library, I have found some PBY-3s (air scoop atop the nacelles for downdraft carb.)

      I wonder what this gadget is - pilot's window, rear angle.

      First time I look at this, I found it only on 3 pics, pictured at Corpus Christi.
      Nothing on any other photo I have.

      Any idea or memory?
