Saturday, November 3rd is the feast day of St. Raphael, Bishop of Brooklyn. The Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Brooklyn will be hosting Great Vespers for the Feast on Friday night at 7:30. There is also Matins and Divine Liturgy on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m.
For those unfamiliar with St. Raphael: he was the first person to be consecrated a bishop on North American soil. He was the rector of St. Nicholas' Cathedral, and as a bishop primarily served the Syrian community in America. He also participated in the founding of St. Tikhon's Monastery in Pennsylvania. Bishop Raphael was recognized as a Saint of the Church in March 2000. (More details of his life at http://orthodoxwiki.org/Raphael_of_Brooklyn)
St. Nicholas' Cathedral is at 355 State Street. Directions at http://www.stnicholascathedral.org/directions.html.
If you are able to attend, I'm sure that it will be worthwhile.
