A sensation was created in Moscow on June 27, 2007 by the
presentation of Mikhail Babkin's monograph, The Clergy of the
Russian Orthodox Church and the Overthrow of the Monarchy. The
event which took place in the State Historical Public Library was
attended by representatives of the clergy, as well as the
educational and cultural communities. Well known attendees included
Fr. Gleb Yakunin and Lev Regelson, the author of "The Tragedy of the
      Russian Church".

3 links below to articles by Mikhail Babkin (also in Russian):

It was interesting that Metropolitan Platon
(Rozhdestvensky), at the time an archbishop and Exarch of Tblisi
participated in celebrating "the dawn of freedom" in Tblisi on March
19, along with the bishop of Erevan. "..the bishops served a
mol'eben with a kneeling prayer for the granting of victory over the
enemy; `eternal memory' was intoned for the soldiers who died on the
battlefield and the freedom fighters who <laid down their lives for
their friends>". Analogous ceremonies took place in many cities
      throughout Russia.
