Issue on Georgia's Returning Ancient Gates to Azerbaijan May Be Solved by
      Azerbaijani and Georgian Religious Leaders

      Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend <http://www.trend.az/> , corr S. Aghayeva/ Zurab
Gumberidze, Georgia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, has said today that the
issue on giving the Ganja Ancient Gates should be solved between the
religious leaders of Azerbaijan and Georgia.

According to him, the above-mentioned historical value is in the ownership
of the Georgian Orthodox Church, and the issue on returning it to Azerbaijan
might be solved by an appeal to be made by Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur
Pashazadeh, the Head of the All-Caucasian Muslims.

Notably, that the Ganja Ancient Gates were moved to Georgia as far back in
      11 century.
