      WASHINGTON, DC [OCA Communications] — Saint Nicholas Cathedral here, the primatial cathedral for the Orthodox Church in America, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of development director.

      The development director will be responsible for formulating and managing the development activities of the parish and building the resources and increasing the cathedral’s visibility through a variety of fund development, communications, and outreach initiatives.

      Qualifications include excellent written and verbal communication skills; development experience within the Orthodox Church, a religious organization, or a non-profit organization or agency; computer skills; and requisite educational background and work experience. Salary is commensurate with experience. Full-time or part-time position negotiable.
