      Moscow, May 3, Interfax - Head of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Alexy II has aid that he hopes that Russian believers will be given access to sacred places in Palestine.

      At a Wednesday meeting in Moscow with Palestinian ambassador Baker Abdel Munem he said that the Moscow Patriarchate had built a hotel for Russian Orthodox pilgrims in Bethlehem.

      He voiced support for the aspiration of the Palestinian people to unity, the official site of the Moscow Patriarchate reports.
