      The Third General Meeting of the World Public Forum "Dialogue of
      Civilizations" in Rhodes, Greece

      6th October 2005

      Beginning on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 the Third General Meeting of
      the World Public Forum "Dialogue of Civilizations", will gather
      almost 350 religious, political, cultural and educational leaders in
      Rhodes, Greece to discuss topics ranging from "Challenges of the
      Contemporary World and Religion" to "Ethnic and Religious Diversity
      in the Central Asian Countries and Search for Social and Political
      Consensus."

      Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Representative of the Orthodox Church in
      America will present a paper entitled, "Religious values for the
      public, or public values for the religious?" to the gathering on
      Thursday, October 6th, during the working schedule panel discussion.
      Among the numerous other presenters from the various Autocephalous
      Orthodox Churches are: His Eminence, Archbishop DAMIANOS of the
      Church of Sinai, His Grace, Bishop JUSTIN of Timok of the Serbian
      Orthodox Church,His Eminence, Archbishop PAUL of Riazan of the
      Russian Orthodox Church, His Eminence, Archbishop AVGUSTIN of Lvov
      of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP), and Archimandrite Antony,
      from the Chancery of Kiev of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP).
      Also making presentations will be representatives of the Roman
      Catholic Church, the Coptic Orthodox Church, the various Protestant
      confessions, and other religious leaders from the Jewish and Muslim
      world.

      This World Public Forum is sponsored annually by the Center for the
      National Glory of Russia, the Saint Andrew the First Called
      Foundation, and the Capur Suriya Foundation of India and draws
      participants from various countries throughout the world. This year,
      at the Third General Meeting of the World Public Forum, 46 countries
      are represented.
