New Orthodox Christian church is founded

      Saturday, Oct. 01 2005

A new Antiochan Orthodox Christian parish has been founded in St. Louis at 2550
Schuetz Road in Maryland Heights. The 24-family parish, called All Saints of
North America Orthodox Church, regularly meets for Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m.
each Sunday, as well as special feast days. A vesperal prayer service is held
every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and every Saturday at 5 p.m. Services are held in
converted office space in a building housing the Standard Artificial Limb and
Brace Company. The church is part of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian
Archdiocese of North America, a group of 240 parishes and missions descended
      from the Russian Orthodox Church.
