      Moscow to host roundtable "Russian Orthodoxy in America in 1793-1917. The 220th anniversary of the first Russian Orthodox Mission in America"
       
       
      The roundtable will bring together religious and secular scientists who study Russian Orthodoxy in America.
       
      MOSCOW. On Oct. 18 at 11.00 in the framework of the project History of Russian Orthodoxy abroad" there will be a roundtable in the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church "The Russian Orthodox Church in America in the years 1793-1917. Towards the 220th anniversary of the first Russian Orthodox Mission in America. 
       
      The roundtable will bring together religious and secular scholars who study Russian Orthodoxy in America:
       
       - Author of the book "The Russian Orthodox Church in Alaska until 1917," Metropolitan Kliment of Kaluga and Borovsky;
       
        - A. Petrov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Senior Fellow, Center for North American Studies of the Institute of World History; 
       
       - Archpriest Vladislav Tsypin, Head of ecclesiastical and practical disciplines Professor of the Moscow Theological Academy; 
       
       - Members of the Scholarly Editorial Board of the publication of the "History of Russian Orthodoxy abroad"; invited experts.
