Metropolitan Tikon's arrival in Moscow

July 20, 2013, His Beatitude, Archbishop of Washington, Metropolitan Tikhon of All America and Canada arrived in Moscow to participate in the celebrations of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.
At Domodedovo airport the Primate of the Orthodox Church in America was met by Metropolitan of Ryazan and Michael Paul, the first Vicar of His Holiness the Patriarch of the city of Moscow, Archbishop Arseny of Istra, Bishop Krasnoslobodski and Temnikov Clement, a representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Archimandrite Alexander (Pihach), Deputy Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate Archpriest Nikolay Balashov, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations, Archpriest Igor Yakymchuk, Representative of the World Russian People's Council at the United Nations, a cleric of St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York (USA), Archpriest George Roschin.
Metropolitan Tikhon was accompanied by President of the Office of the Orthodox Church in America for Foreign Affairs and Interchurch Relations, Bishop Alexander of Toledo, Managing Director of the Orthodox Church in America , Rev. John Jillions and a cleric of Canadian Archdiocese Deacon Jesse Isaac.
