Greek government offers Muslims Athens' stadiums for Ramadan prayers
Stadiums are proposed because the construction of the mosque is not yet complete
ATHENS. 9 July, the Greek Government decided to provide a place for prayer during Ramadan for Muslims living in Athens. The joint meeting of the four ministries (Interior, Education and Religious Affairs, Culture and Sport, public order and the protection of citizens) offered a choice of two places for Muslims to pray - Peace and Friendship Stadium, and Olympic athletics center in Athens. The stadiums were offered to Muslims in view of the fact that the construction of a mosque in Athens is not yet complete, reports "Amen."
