        The good news is official with the posting earlier today, July 2, 2013 of the Rasmuson Foundation press release!  ROSSIA received $495,000, a substantial part of which will go to finishing work at St Nicholas!

      "For Immediate Release on July 2, 2013

      "Anchorage--  Rasmuson Foundation's Board of Directors met last week and made $8.6 million in awards to support nonprofit programs and activities around Alaska. The projects receiving funding were (organized by region):

      "Statewide
      Russian Orthodox Sacred Sites in Alaska, Inc. will work to complete renovations of historic Russian Orthodox churches in Juneau, Kenai, Karluk and Unalaska with a $495,000 grant. "
