Published originally in English, "The Way" is now available in Chinese translation with initial print run of 1000 copies through the generous sponsorship of the Archbishop Rostislav of Tomsk and Asino (Moscow Patriarchate). Clark Carlton clearly presents:

The fundamental issues that distinguish the Orthodox Church from all Protestant denominations...

A comprehensive understanding of how Orthodox and Protestants understand Scripture, Tradition, and the structure of the Church...

Explains worship in the Early Church and the Protestant reformation...

      And much, much more!

The author Clark was born in Tennessee in 1964 and raised as a Southern Baptist. He earned his BA in philosophy from Carson-Newman College. While studying as the Raymond Brian Memorial Scholar at Southeastern Baptists Theological Seminary, he converted to the Orthodox Church.

Clark Carlton earned a Master of Divinity degree from St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in 1990. In 1993 Clark earned an MA in early Christian studies from the Catholic University of America.

Clark is currently teaching philosophy at Tennessee Technological University while completing his Ph.D. dissertation on the theology of St. Mark the Monk.

      OFASC Theological Review

Approved by the OFASC Commission on Translation (9-1-280712), this is one of the best books about Orthodox Church addressed especially to Protestant readers translated in Chinese and published by the SS Peter & Paul parish in Hong Kong. Deepest thanks to one of the best translators, Cinde Lee, and proofreader, Shchelokov Ivan.
