His Grace, Bishop Maxim cordially invites and encourages everyone to
join him in a Jubilee Celebration marking the
50th Anniversary of the Western American Diocese (1963-2013), the
1700th Anniversary of the Edict of Milan (313-2013), the 150th
Anniversary of the birth of the Holy Apostle to the Americas,
Archimandrite Sebastian Dabovich, and a Special Commemoration of Nikola
      Tesla.
These four anniversaries will be the main theme of the 17th Annual
Diocesan Days Gathering, which will be held in conjunction with the
Annual Diocesan Assembly on Labor Day weekend, Friday, August
30th through September 1st, 2013, at the Saint Steven's Serbian
      Orthodox Cathedral in Alhambra, California.
Guest Speakers will give talks centered on all four inspiring and
historically unique Jubilees.  Church services will include Vespers
on Friday and Saturday evenings with the Divine Liturgy on Saturday and
Sunday mornings.  Social events will include live music, dancing,
folklore performances, a Serbian Picnic, and many fun activities for
      children and young adults.

This holiday weekend event will be hosted by Saint Steven's
Cathedral and several other Parishes. More details will be available in
the coming months. Make your hotel and transportation arrangements
early!  We look forward to seeing you at Diocesan Days 2013 for this
      three-day Jubilee Celebration!
