N.H. town defeated in court in attempt to punish Christians
- A New Hampshire town used zoning restrictions to keep the St. Benedict Center from finishing its buildings. Town officials had said the views of the center on such matters as abortion and homosexuality were "abhorrent." A judge awarded the center 1.5 million dollars in one of the largest zoning settlements ever, and rebuked the town for dealing with a church in this way, an event ignored by the media.
