BELGRADE -- SPC Vicar Simeon Vilovski, suspected of embezzlement in the Raška-Prizren Eparchy has been arrested in Greece.

Greek police apprehended Vilovski, for whose arrest an international warrant was issued, around noon in a suburb of Thessaloniki, the interior minister told Tanjug.

The criminal charge has been filed to the Higher Prosecution in Belgrade against Simeon, a former abbot of Banjska monastery and the dismissed deputy in the Raška-Prizren Eparchy.

He has been accused of financial embezzlement of the eparchy’s funds worth several hundred thousand euros.
