    I had not been down to this location in several years. It was recently suggested by Steve Stanton, a property manager for our area who is/was an avid birder.

      I had not been down to this location in several years. It was recently
      suggested by Steve Stanton, a property manager for our area who is/was
      an avid birder. After going with his suggestion I was able to nab some
      excellent shots including a House Wren exiting a tree hole as well as a
      most shy Blue-gray Gnatcatcher amongst others. Here's my report with
      links to photos. I wish my experience level was better as there were
      various calls I was unable to identify or see due to thick branches,
      leaves, etc. All birds below were positively ID'd. The walk extended
      from just above the campground off Christianitos Exit to the beach
      between 3 and 6:30 pm
