Birded the east side of HCP this morning. Surprising 24 American White Pelicans on Talbert Lake. Most of the activity was near the swamp by the city yard.

Birded the east side of HCP this morning. Surprising 24 American White Pelicans on Talbert Lake. Most of the activity was near the swamp by the city yard. Magnolia Warbler continued by the exercise bars. Hairy Woodpecker was in its regular spot in the back corner of that swamp but could be viewed from the grass. Could not find the Brown Creeper that was in that area Monday. Found the Palm Warbler reported on Monday by Jim Roe on the south side of Gothard Hill. It was foraging on the ground with Yellow-rumped Warblers.
