The San Fernando Valley Audubon Society, founded in 1906 as the California Audubon Society, invites one and all to help us celebrate 100 years of bird habitat conservation and education programs.

On Friday, March 3, 2006 there will be a gala banquet at 6:30 PM in Van Nuys, CA keynoted by noted birder and author, Pete Dunne, of the Cape May Observatory and New Jersey Audubon. For details on the banquet and to reserve a space, see
      http://www.sanfernandovalleyaudubon.org/sfvas/Poster%2006%20Banquet.pdf .

On Saturday, March 4, 2006, Pete Dunne will lead a special fund-raising walk at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Area at 8:30 AM. Limited to 25 participants at $30 each, this will be a unique opportunity to learn from a master birder. To reserve a space contact Chris VanBeveren at becktravel@... or (818) 998-3122 at your earliest convenience.

      I apologize for the cross-postings!
