There are several streams in Prince William County available for adoption. By adopting a stream, your troop makes a commitment to clean the stream a minimum of once a year for at least two years. Trash bags, gloves, vests, and trash pick-up will be provided. There are also streams available for one-time cleanups in September-October and April of each year or your group can help with one of the stream cleanups open to the public.

For more information about signing up for stream cleanups in Prince William County, please contact Kelly Jimenez, Outreach & Education Specialist, at Prince William Soil & Water Conservation District, 8850 Rixlew Lane, Manassas VA 20109, (571) 379-7514, kellyjimenez@..., or visit the web, www.pwswcd.org
